Cooler Master's ML120L and ML240L RGB CPU Coolers Sync Lighting To Motherboard

Cooler Master has released the new MasterLiquid ML120L and ML240L RGB all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, which sound similar to the existing MasterLiquid 120 and 240 AIO coolers, but differ in having RGB lighting which appears to be the new norm for flagship CPU coolers in 2017. The new coolers come equipped with pre-programmed RGB lighting effects on both the pump and fan(s), and this can also be monitored via the included controller. In addition, Cooler Master provides an RGB cable splitter to help integrate the lighting with compatible LED control software from motherboard makers including ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync and ASRock's RGB LED Utility. Both the ML120L and the ML240L RGB are compatible with the newer AMD AM4 socket and Intel LGA2066 socket in addition to mainstream sockets from both CPU manufacturers. Notably however, support for AMD's Threadripper platform is missing. Both AIOs use a dual-chamber pump, sleeved FEP tubing, and MF120R air balance fans that claim to have silence and performance optimization in mind. The ML120L and the ML240L RGB coolers are currently available on Newegg via a third-party seller for $94.99 and $114.99 respectively. Click on the story for more specs.

Cooler Master Announces Support for AMD Ryzen Threadripper and Socket TR4

Cooler Master has announced support for AMD Ryzen Threadripper and Socket TR4 for its AIO liquid CPU coolers through the usage of a mounting kit (RL-TR4B-MLLS-R1). The list of compatible coolers includes the MasterLiquid 240 and 120, MasterLiquid 240L RGB, MasterLiquid 120L RGB, Lite 240 and Lite 120.

AMD's latest HEDT CPUs offers up to 16 cores and 32 threads which reaches up to 180 watt TDP with the flagship 1950X. Cooler master says AMD's Threadripper CPUs will require top notch cooling, and that Cooler Master's dual chamber cooling presents itself as a perfect option made possible through "the unique cooling process which isolates the heated coolant from the cooled to maximize the results of the cooling of the processor."
