NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER Could Feature 24 GB Memory, Increased Power Limits

Hot on the heels of rumored specs of the GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER and RTX 5070 Ti SUPER, rumored specs of the RTX 5080 SUPER emerged on VideoCardz. Apparently, NVIDIA will not tap into the larger "GB202" silicon to build the RTX 5080 SUPER despite maxing out the "GB203" silicon to build the current RTX 5080. It will take a slightly different approach, by giving the card additional memory and power limits. 24 Gbit GDDR7 memory chips are a distinct feature of RTX 50-series SUPER graphics cards, and much like the RTX 5070 Ti SUPER, the RTX 5080 SUPER will feature 24 GB of GDDR7 memory across a 256-bit wide memory bus.

NVIDIA could possibly use 30 Gbps memory speeds for this SKU to end up with at least the same kind of bandwidth as the regular RTX 5080, which is 960 GB/s. The other interesting aspect of the RTX 5080 SUPER is expected to be its increased TGP (total graphics power) value of 415 W, a 15% increase over the 360 W TGP of the RTX 5080. This increase in TGP will not just support the higher density memory chips, but also allow NVIDIA to increase GPU clock speeds. This will likely be necessary, given that NVIDIA has no headroom to increase shader counts on "GB203," and will need something to increase performance for games without heavy memory demands.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti SUPER Planned with 24 GB of GDDR7 Memory

We have already covered that NVIDIA is planning a SUPER refresh of its GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, with the most recent leak revealing the GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER, which is expected to feature a slight increase in CUDA core count and 18 GB of memory. However, NVIDIA is also overhauling its RTX 5070 Ti with the SUPER treatment, now enabling the RTX 5070 Ti SUPER to feature as much as 24 GB of GDDR7 memory with no change in CUDA core count. According to kopite7kimi, the RTX 5070 Ti SUPER will feature the same 8,960 CUDA core configuration as the GB203-350-A1 SKU, based on the PG147-SKU55 PCB. The only difference here is the VRAM surplus resulting from an additional 8 GB of GDDR7, which totals 24 GB capacity, compared to the 16 GB now on the regular RTX 5070 Ti SKU.

This also changes the TBP of the card, where the RTX 5070 Ti SUPER GPU is now rumored to feature a 350 W TBP, an upgrade from the non-SUPER's RTX 5070 Ti, which has a 300 W power rating. Perhaps the extra power is dedicated now not only to more VRAM (which is also a power consumer) but to higher clock speeds, too. It wouldn't be sufficient to call it a SUPER variant without some raw compute increase, so NVIDIA might be selecting better die bins for the SUPER SKU to enable higher default clock speeds at only a 50 W TBP increase. Nonetheless, we expect to hear more details in the coming weeks, especially since the wave of rumors has started to flood social media and leaks are becoming more frequent.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER Possible Specs Emerge: 24 Gbit Memory Takes Centerstage

NVIDIA will tap into 24 Gbit (3 GB) GDDR7 memory chips and increase memory sizes across the board for its RTX 50-series SUPER line of GPUs slated for later this year, if leaked specs of the upcoming GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER are anything to go by. Kopite7kimi, a reliable source with NVIDIA leaks, says that the RTX 5070 SUPER will feature 18 GB of memory—that's six 24 Gbit memory chips across a 192-bit wide GDDR7 memory bus. The card has a SKU designation of "PG147-SKU65" and ASIC code of "GB205-400-A1."

Besides 18 GB of memory, the RTX 5070 SUPER reportedly maxes out the "GB205" silicon it's based on, enabling all 50 SM present. The current RTX 5070 has 48 out of 50 SM enabled for 6,144 CUDA cores, whereas the RTX 5070 SUPER, with its 50 SM, should have 6,400 CUDA cores. The marginal increase in shader count will be bolstered by the 50% increase in memory size, and possible increases in GPU boost speeds. The memory bandwidth, however, remains unchanged. It ticks at the same 28 Gbps as on the RTX 5070, which yields 672 GB/s. The TGP will be increased to 275 W, from 250 W.

GPU IPC Showdown: NVIDIA Blackwell vs Ada Lovelace; AMD RDNA 4 vs RDNA 3

Instructions per clock is a metric used to define and compare CPU architecture performance usually. However, enthusiast colleagues at ComputerBase had an idea to test the IPC improvement in GPUs, comparing it across current and past generations. NVIDIA's Blackwell-based GeForce RTX 50 series faces off against the Ada Lovelace-based RTX 40 generation, while AMD's RDNA 4-powered Radeon RX 9000 lineup challenges the RDNA 3-based RX 7000 series. For NVIDIA, the test used RTX 5070 Ti and 4070 Ti SUPER, aligning ALU counts and clock speeds and treating memory bandwidth differences as negligible. For AMD, the test matched the RX 9060 XT to the RX 7600 XT, both featuring identical ALUs and GDDR6 memory. By closely matching shader counts and normalizing for clock variations, ComputerBase isolates IPC improvements from other hardware enhancements. In rasterized rendering tests across 19 popular titles, NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture delivered an average IPC advantage of just 1% over the older Ada Lovelace.

This difference could easily be attributed to normal benchmark variance. Ray tracing and path tracing benchmarks showed no significant IPC uplift, leaving the latest generation essentially on par with its predecessor when normalized for clock and unit count. AMD's RDNA 4, by contrast, exhibited a substantial IPC leap. Rasterized performance improved by around 20% compared to RDNA 3, while ray-traced workloads enjoyed a roughly 31% gain. Path tracing results were even more extreme, with RDNA 4 delivering nearly twice the FPS, a 100% increase over its predecessor. These findings suggest that NVIDIA's performance improvements primarily stem from higher clock speeds, increased execution unit counts, and enhanced features. AMD's RDNA 4 represents a significant architectural advance, marking its most notable IPC gain since the original RDNA launch.

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER Gains 24 GB GDDR7, Keeps 10,752 CUDA Cores

With Computex 2025 in full swing, we learn that NVIDIA's next "SUPER" refresh may soon arrive: reliable leaker kopite7kimi has dropped fresh rumors surrounding the upcoming GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER. In a recent post on X, the leaker indicated that this new card will continue to use the GB203 GPU, matching the existing RTX 5080's full capacity of 10,752 CUDA cores. The only SUPER improvement lies in memory capacity and speed. Unlike the base model's 16 GB of GDDR7 running at 30 Gbps, the SUPER variant features 24 GB of GDDR7 at 32 Gbps, giving it a 1 TB/s of theoretical bandwidth. This increase in VRAM could yield noticeable benefits in high-resolution gaming and professional workloads that demand extensive frame buffers. Early bandwidth estimates suggest a 6% uplift in throughput when compared to the standard RTX 5080's 960 GB/s.

At the same time, the higher memory density requires denser 3 GB modules, similar to those already used in the RTX PRO 6000. Power requirements will rise accordingly. The SUPER model is rumored to draw over 400 W, about 40 W more than the vanilla RTX 5080's 360 W rating. Now, only NVIDIA's flagship RTX 5090—with 21,760 cores and 32 GB of GDDR7 across a 512‑bit bus—will exceed the 5080 SUPER in both compute and memory resources, not counting the last-generation top-tier RTX 4090. The exact launch date remains unconfirmed. While earlier rumors pointed to a Q4 2025 release, a new schedule could see NVIDIA debut the new card by early 2026 at a major trade show such as CES. Pricing is equally speculative. A possible MSRP target would be between $1,000 and $1,500, and it would be positioned to avoid direct competition with NVIDIA's entry‑level professional Blackwell GPUs. As always, until official announcements are made, specifications and launch windows should be taken with a grain of salt.

NVIDIA Prepares Downgraded GeForce RTX 5090D and RTX 5080 SUPER/Ti SKUs

NVIDIA's rollout of "Blackwell" generation GPUs is not complete, as rumors of a mid‑cycle refresh are already gaining momentum. Latest rumors point to a GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER (or "Ti," depending on what NVIDIA calls it) could arrive before the year is out, aiming to fill the gap between the base RTX 5080 and the flagship RTX 5090. Right now, the standard RTX 5080 comes with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory, while the RTX 5090 doubles that to 32 GB. According to a tipster on Baidu, the SUPER/Ti model would slot in at 24 GB, giving memory‑hungry games and applications a boost without stepping on the 5090's toes. Beyond that bump in RAM, though, we're still in the dark about core counts, clock speeds, and power targets.

On a related front, the China‑only RTX 5090D is reportedly being overhauled because of new US export restrictions. The revamped 5090D is said to lose almost a third of its shader hardware, dropping from 21,760 cores down to 14,080, similar to the professional‑grade RTX Pro 5000. Even if NVIDIA cranks up the clock speeds, that cut in cores would almost certainly drag performance back toward last‑generation RTX 4090 levels. Memory architecture might take a hit too: the revised 5090D could shift from a 512‑bit bus to 384 bits, reducing bandwidth by 25% even while keeping 32 GB of GDDR7. Some leaks even suggest NVIDIA might trim its VRAM to 24 GB, which would oddly line it up with the rumored spec for the upcoming 5080 SUPER.

NVIDIA Reportedly Working on GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER 24 GB & RTX 5070 SUPER 18 GB Designs

Mere months after the launch of GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB and RTX 5070 12 GB graphics cards, industry rumors are already swirling about a potential "SUPER" semi-successor. Sections of NVIDIA's previous-gen "Ada Lovelace" GeForce RTX 40-series family received mid-generation refresh treatment around early 2024. It is not clear whether it will take a year+ for the speculated arrival of upgraded "Blackwell" desktop gaming solutions, but members of the Chiphell forum have been openly discussing alleged "in-progress" GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER 24 GB and RTX 5070 SUPER 18 GB card designs. Past weekend theorizations were highlighted by ITHome and VideoCardz—in particular, one Chiphell participant posited the two follow-ups will not be deployed with noticeably "faster" performance.

Larger pools of onboard GDDR7 VRAM could pave the way for improvements in AI productivity, although greater capacities could lead to beneficial conditions in gaming scenarios—e.g. extra provisions for large textures and complex assets. The speculated GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER card could borrow aspects from Team Green's GeForce RTX 5090 Mobile 24 GB model; namely the latter's usage of 3 GB GDDR7 memory modules. Press interpretations—of fresh Chiphell leaks—point to company engineers enabling existing PCB designs with 8×3 GB (24 GB) and 6×3 GB (18 GB) parts; thus preventing a major overhaul of board layouts. Global PC gaming hardware communities have often expressed a dislike of NVIDIA's repeated deployment of 8 GB and 12 GB capacity products. A theoretical GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER 18 GB option could receive a warmer welcome. Very early speculation proposes an introduction—of SUPER "Blackwell" models—just before or during CES 2026.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Allegedly Scores 16.6% Improvement Over RTX 4070 Ti SUPER in Synthetic Benchmarks

Thanks to some early 3D Mark benchmarks obtained by VideoCardz, NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU paints an interesting picture of performance gains over the predecessor. Testing conducted with AMD's Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and 48 GB of DDR5-6000 memory has provided the first glimpse into the card's capabilities. The new GPU demonstrates a 16.6% performance improvement over its predecessor, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. However, benchmark data shows it is falling short of the more expensive RTX 5080 by 13.2%, raising questions about the price-to-performance ratio given the $250 price difference between the two cards. Priced at $749 MSRP, the RTX 5070 Ti could be even pricier in retail channels at launch, especially with limited availability. The card's positioning becomes particularly interesting compared to the RTX 5080's $999 price point, which commands a 33% premium for its additional performance capabilities.

As a reminder, the RTX 5070 Ti boasts 8,960 CUDA cores, 280 texture units, 70 RT cores for ray tracing, and 280 tensor cores for AI computations, all supported by 16 GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28 Gbps effective speed across a 256-bit bus interface, resulting in an 896 GB/s bandwidth. We have to wait for proper reviews for the final performance conclusion, as synthetic benchmarks tell only part of the story. Modern gaming demands consideration of advanced features such as ray tracing and upscaling technologies, which can significantly impact real-world performance. The true test will come from comprehensive gaming benchmarks tested over various cases. The gaming community won't have to wait long for detailed analysis, as official reviews will be reportedly released in just a few days. Additional evaluations of non-MSRP versions should follow on February 20, the card's launch date.

GALAX Intros GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3X Graphics Card

GALAX introduced the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3X, a custom-design RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card that appears to be its most affordable product based on the GPU. It's positioned a notch below the SG, ST, EX Gamer, and HOF series. The card features a sporty, multi-layered plastic cooler shroud, and a triple-fan setup. The cooling solution is no more than 3 slots thick, and features what looks like two aluminium fin stacks on either ends of a set of heat pipes.

The PCB only covers two-thirds the length of the card, and so all of the airflow from the third fan, and some of it from the second one, go through the heatsink, and out back from a cutout in the backplate. The fans lack any kind of lighting, the only lighting is an illuminated GeForce RTX logo on top. The card lacks any factory overclocking, but GALAX includes a software-based "1-click OC" mode. The RTX 4080 SUPER maxes out the "AD103" silicon, enabling at 10,240 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores, 320 Tensor cores, 112 ROPs, and 320 TMUs present on the silicon, besides the full 64 MB L2 cache available. The GPU is wired to 16 GB of 23 Gbps GDDR6X memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface, yielding 736 GB/s of memory bandwidth.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER with AD102 GPU Appears on German Retailer Listing

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER featuring the AD102 GPU, initially speculated to be an Asia-exclusive release, is now confirmed for worldwide distribution. This development comes as the GIGABYTE RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Windforce MAX OC 16 GB, the first model equipped with this configuration, has appeared on German online retailer listing, specifically at Mindfactory. Previously using AD103-275 GPU SKU for the regular GIGABYTE RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Windforce model, the "MAX" variant now comes with AD102-225 GPU SKU. Priced at over 950 Euros, it commands a premium over the standard Windforce model. The "MAX" designation not only indicates the different GPU but also boasts an official 30 MHz higher clock speed. The Max variant also employs the more robust cooling system typically found in the GeForce RTX 4080/4090 class. This is a departure from the smaller RTX 4070 Ti design used in the SUPER variant with the AD103 GPU.

While the performance and power consumption differences between the AD102 and AD103 versions may be negligible for most users, the adoption of larger cooling systems in many custom designs could prove beneficial. This enhanced thermal management might appeal to enthusiasts and overclockers looking to push their graphics cards to the limit. While the regular AD103 card measures 261x126x50 mm, the MAX model with its AD102 and beefier coolers measures 331x136x55.5 mm. Overclockers could push the performance of this card further, and we wait to see what will come out of the AD102-225 silicon on the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER platform.

GIGABYTE Intros GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER MAX with Repositioned 12VHPWR Connector

GIGABYTE introduced the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER WindForce MAX graphics card. It is characterized by an oversized air cooling solution that gives it some large dimensions of 33.1 cm length, 5.55 cm thickness (3 slots), but more importantly, a height of 13.6 cm, which could pose a challenge for those with mid-tower cases, given the tight cable bending restrictions of the 12VHPWR connector. GIGABYTE found a novel solution to this problem. The power connector is located pointing toward the tail end of the card, where the PCB terminates. The PCB is only two-thirds the length of the card, and so the power cable can be routed in without any bends.

The WindForce cooling solution features a trio of 100 mm fans that ventilate a large aluminium fin-stack heatsink with nine copper heatpipes, and a direct-touch base. GIGABYTE has given the card a factory overclock of 2655 MHz GPU clocks, compared to 2610 MHz reference, while leaving the memory untouched at 21 Gbps. The card offers dual-BIOS, with the default BIOS enabling these clock speeds, and the Silent BIOS lowering them to reference speeds, while quietening the cooler. Based on the 5 nm AD103 silicon, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is endowed with 8,448 CUDA cores, 66 RT cores, 264 Tensor cores, 96 ROPs, and 264 TMUs. The GPU gets 16 GB of 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ASUS Unveils SFF-Ready Prime Series GeForce RTX 40-series Graphics Cards

ASUS launched the Prime Series of GeForce RTX 40-series "Ada" graphics cards that meet NVIDIA's new SFF-Ready specification that sets 304 mm x 151 mm x 50 mm (length x height x thickness) as the maximum dimensions for a graphics card to qualify. What's interesting, is that NVIDIA intended for the SFF-Ready standard to apply to performance-segment and enthusiast-class GPUs (RTX 4070 SUPER and up), however, ASUS has designed the Prime series for the RTX 4060 Ti, RTX 4070, and RTX 4070 SUPER; there are no cards in the series based on the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER or the RTX 4080 SUPER, yet.

ASUS is using a common board design for its RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070, and RTX 4060 Ti Prime series graphics cards, which measures 269 mm x 120 mm x 50 mm, while the heatsink and PCB underneath the cooler shroud may vary between the RTX 4070/SUPER and the RTX 4060 Ti cards. The cooler uses a trio of 70 mm fans to ventilate an aluminium fin-stack heatsink, much of the airflow from the third fan goes through the heatsink and back out from a large cutout in the backplate. The RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti cards use single 8-pin PCIe power inputs, while the RTX 4070 SUPER uses a 16-pin 12VHPWR input. There are a total of six SKUs, two per GPU, one of which sticks to the NVIDIA reference clock speeds, and the other being an OC SKU with a minor factory overclock.

Palit Intros GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GameRock OmniBlack Graphics Card

Palit today introduced the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GameRock OmniBlack graphics card. The GameRock OmniBlack is a variant of the GameRock custom design that does away with all illumination. The acrylic embellishment that's supposed to resemble ice or frost on the cooler shroud, remains, it's not illuminated from behind. The three 80 mm GaleHunter fans are now black and opaque, unlike on the original GameRock board, where they were frosted acrylic, and illuminated. The card features the same heavy aluminium fin-stack heatsink you'd find on the company's RTX 4080 GameRock series. The cooler makes the card 3.5-slot thick (71.5 mm thick), almost 33 cm long, and 13.7 cm tall.

Palit has increased the power limit of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER to 295 W, up from its reference 285 W, although interestingly, the card sticks to NVIDIA reference clock speeds of 2340 MHz base, and 2610 MHz boost, with its memory running at 21 Gbps. The card offers dual-BIOS, however, both BIOSes run the card at the same speeds, with the "silent" BIOS having a quieter fan profile. Based on the same 5 nm "AD103" silicon as the RTX 4080 and RTX 4080 SUPER, the new RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is equipped with 8,448 CUDA cores, 264 Tensor cores, 66 RT cores, 264 TMUs, and 96 ROPs. Palit did not reveal pricing for the GameRock OmniBlack.

Palit Computex 2024: Neptunus, Beyond Limits, Master, LYNK Project, SFF-Ready

Palit sprung an unexpected surprise at the 2024 Computex. Normally, graphics card partners announce their new custom-design brands alongside new GPU generation launches. Palit took a different path, it rehashed its usual GameRock, JetStream, and Dual OC brands with the RTX 40-series "Ada," back in 2022, but showcased all new custom graphics card designs at Computex 2024, with an expected 5-6 months left for NVIDIA's next-gen GeForce "Blackwell" to hit the scene. The RTX 4090 Neptunus is a variation of the GameRock OC, except it is an air+liquid hybrid cooling solution. The card doesn't include a liquid cooling loop, and out of the box, the air-cooling performance of this card should resemble that of the GameRock, but it has a liquid cooling channel, you use your own G 1/4" fittings, and connect the card to a DIY loop for a transformative upgrade in cooling performance.

Next up, is the RTX 4080 SUPER Beyond Limits. This is Palit being flamboyant with its design, similar to the ASUS ROG Strix or the MSI Gaming X. The card features a very capable 3.5-slot air cooling design with high static-pressure fans, but the star attraction is a large acrylic RGB LED diffuser that runs along the length of the card, which has the Beyond Limits logo, and an infinite-reflection mirror. There is a variant of this card called the Beyond Limits Crystal, which has an "infinity reflection pyramid." The screaming "Beyond Limits" lettering makes way for some abstract shapes.

A Visit to PNY at Computex: NVIDIA's Jensen Really Loved This Card and Signed it

We visited the PNY booth at the 2024 Computex and found something interesting, an air-cooled GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card, and a pre-built, which was custom-made by PNY for their booth. Jensen Huang of NVIDIA visited this booth, and signed the card. It's now quite the attraction. It's a simple lateral blower card that's meant to be bought in numbers, and crammed into workstation cases, where the lateral blower design allows neighboring cards to breathe better. Typically, such cards tend to have boring, unremarkable black designs, with plastic cooler shrouds, but PNY managed to make their card stand out with a die-cast metal shroud finished in NVIDIA's favorite shade of green. As of now, this card isn't a real product, but we've been told that the company is considering a small production run, without Jensen's signature, of course.

GIGABYTE Debuts "AI TOP" Line of Motherboards and GPUs Designed for Local AI Development

During Computex 2024, GIGABYTE unveiled its new "AI TOP" series designed to empower users to develop and run AI applications locally on their systems. The AI TOP lineup includes AI-optimized motherboards, graphics cards, and complete system solutions. The flagship motherboard is called TRX50 AI TOP, which boasts support for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 7000 PRO and a regular series of CPUs. The flagship TRX50 AI TOP motherboard features a special VRM design with beefy heatsinks, four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for quad-GPU setup, eight-channel DDR5 memory with room for eight DIMMs, and a few M.2 PCIe Gen 5 slots. Next in the AI TOP line is the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER AI TOP edition. Formed as a blower-style cooler, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER AI TOP is envisioned for tight spaces and parallel installation with other GPUs to accelerate local AI development and inference.

Supposedly, there will be more AI TOP motherboards and GPUs than what is showcased. GIGABYTE may have an AI TOP makeover for Intel's upcoming Z890 AORUS Xtreme, and there could be more GPUs in the future with the blower-style AI TOP design. The goal of AI TOP series is optimization for AI workloads, which require lots of GPUs and lots of memory, like the TRX50 AI TOP motherboard shows.

GIGABYTE Graphics Cards at Computex: AORUS Xtreme Ice, AI TOP, Eagle OC Ice

GIGABYTE showed off a trio of new or recently announced graphics cards based on the GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs. The lineup is led by the RTX 4080 SUPER AORUS Xtreme Ice, a limited edition, bleeding edge product that the company has serial numbered each card with. The card features some very premium materials in its board design that both look good and are very sturdy. The card also features GIGABYTE's highest factory overclock for the RTX 4080 SUPER.

Next up, is the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER AI TOP. The company just announced the new AI TOP ecosystem of first-party generative AI tools, AI assistants, and hardware certified to accelerate AI, and this graphics card is one of them. It features a lateral-blower cooling solution. The idea behind this is so you could install many of these cards in a desktop or workstation to build a rendering or acceleration farm. The company also unveiled an AI TOP branded AMD TRX50 workstation motherboard, which should be a perfect pairing for this card. Lastly, there are a few recently announced cards, the RTX 4070 SUPER Eagle OC Ice, and the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Gaming OC.

GALAX Intros Classic Series Graphics Cards Based on RTX 4070 SUPER and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER

GALAX introduced the Classic line of graphics cards based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RTX 4070 SUPER. These cards are designed with lateral-blower coolers, and a strictly 2-slot thickness, making them fit for workstations or graphics rendering servers with multiple cards in them. Both cards share a common board design, consisting of an aluminium channel-type heatsink that relies on a lateral blower for ventilation, which always stays on. This card pulls air from either sides of the PCB, and the card's backplate doesn't extend over the region of the PCB with the fan, to maximize clearance for the neighboring card.

The aluminium channel heatsink of this card extends through the entire thickness of the card, and pops out of the cooler shroud, GTX 480-style. The rear I/O bracket has large vents for the cooler to exhaust from. Display connectors include three DisplayPort 1.4, and an HDMI 2.1. Power is drawn from a 16-pin 12VHPWR connector located at the tail end of the card. The RTX 4070 SUPER comes with 7,168 CUDA cores across 56 SM; while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER has 8,448 CUDA cores across 66 SM. Both cards stick to NVIDIA reference clock speeds for their respective GPUs. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Manli Readies GeForce RTX 4070 Ti & 4070 SUPER Gallardo "Slim" Cards

Graphics card enthusiasts with a thing for earthy green hues, will likely appreciate Manli's latest products—its Gallardo graphics card range has expanded with two new models. The Asian and European market-focused manufacturer has already unleashed "refreshed" models that utilize NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40-series SUPER GPUs, but the newest entries sport a revised signature green flagship "Gallardo" design. VideoCardz has pored over the small details—it turns out that Manli has produced a slimmer profile: "perhaps something that is not obvious is that Manli has introduced the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Gallardo already. The new version marks a second revision, featuring an entirely different aesthetic compared to its predecessor. The most important change is that it no longer occupies a 3.5-slot space." Manli has evidently put together a "much slimmer 2-slot version" under a "M3604+N693" moniker.

The non-Ti model is likely coming out soon, but Manli has not yet announced official pricing or launch date details for their newly redesigned Gallardo Ada Lovelace cards—official product pages were created last week. Despite flagship status, VideoCardz notes that Manli has not implemented any factory overclocking—the Gallardo range is often associated with: "system integrators like Sycom for further customization." The spec sheet advertises integrated LED lighting with seven available color cycles, four 6 mm copper heat pipes with segmented heatsinks, and a metal backplate for reinforcement and protective purposes.

EMTEK Launches GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER MIRACLE X3 White 12 GB Graphics Card

EMTEK products rarely pop up on TPU's news section, but the GPU database contains a smattering of the South Korean manufacturer's Ampere-based GeForce RTX graphics card. VideoCardz has discovered an updated MIRACLE X3 White model—EMTEK's latest release is a GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12 GB card. The triple-fan model seems to stick with NVIDIA's reference specifications—VideoCardz also noticed a physical similarity: "under the cooler shroud, the card boasts a non-standard U-shaped PCB, reminiscent of Team Green's Founders Edition. However, it remains uncertain whether EMTEK utilizes the same PCB as NVIDIA." The asking price—of ₩919,990—converts to around $680, when factoring in regional taxes. EMTEK's MIRACLE X3 cooling solution seems to be fairly robust—featuring four 6 mm heat pipes—so an adherence to stock clocks is a slight surprise. The company's GAMING PRO line includes a couple of factory overclocked options.

Sycom Silent Master Range Offers New RTX 40 SUPER Noctua Options

Sycom's "Silent Master" range of GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards has welcomed two new GPU options: RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER. As evidenced in accompanying product shots, the Japanese manufacturer has partnered with Noctua—the latter's flagship NF-A12x25 120 mm PWM fan is utilized within Sycom's custom air-cooled solution. According to a press release, the original fan cover design "was created by Nagao Seisakusho/Nagao Industry."

Silent Master graphics cards are not factory overclocked—Sycom prefers to concentrate on quiet operation rather than heavily ramped up performance. A good chunk of their product pages are dedicated to audio recordings of hushed operation. They claim noise levels of 31.4 dB when idle, and 42.1 dB (max) for their GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16 GB model. The GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12 GB posted 31.4dB when idle and 37.9dB at full whack. Silent Master graphics cards are only available within "BTO option" systems—Sycom specializes in pre-built PC systems, with plenty of Noctua parts housed within.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series GPUs Now Priced Below MSRP in Germany

Two months ago, NVIDIA introduced its GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series to the market, bringing a trio of models: RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4080 SUPER. Today, according to the report from ComputerBase, NVIDIA's latest trio has recorded a drop in pricing recently, and it now retails under MSRP in German stores. The RTX 4070 SUPER started with an MSRP of 659 Euros ($599 in the US) and is now available from 589 Euros. Its older brother, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, started with an MSRP listing of 889 Euros ($799 in the US) and is now retailing from 840 Euros. Lastly, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER has been listed at 1,109 Euros ($999 in the US) and is now retailing with a small discount at 1,092 Euros.

Once NVIDIA launched a new GPU generation, it became a custom for these cards to be retailed over their MSRP long before prices were adjusted and settled. However, with the latest SUPER refresh, this seems to be one of the fastest price adjustments. This could be caused by either an improvement in the supply chain or leveled supply and demand, making it so that these cards are finally trading below their launch-level MSRPs.
