Acer announced two powerful Predator Helios gaming laptops and a pair of Predator gaming monitors. The laptops feature an all-new design with 16-inch and 18-inch display sizes, the latest 13th Gen Intel Core mobile processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, making them Acer's most powerful gaming laptops to date. The Predator X45 showcases a massive 800R curved monitor and has earned a CES Innovation Award in the "Computer Peripherals & Accessories" category. Along with the Predator X27U, both monitors include OLED technology with fast 240 Hz refresh rates.

The triple addition in three sizes (24"/60.4 cm 24V5CW, 27"/68.6 cm Q27V5CW and the 34"/86.4 cm ultrawide CU34V5CW) features 2 MP built-in webcams with Windows Hello support for easy login and increased security, thus fulfilling today's requirements for video calls and meetings. The 3-sides borderless V5 models are thin displays with a versatile USB-C connection, offering 65 W Power Delivery to charge and power laptops or tablets with a single cable while transferring the display signal.

Unlike bulky, uninspiring monitors, the design of the V5 series brings a lightweight, contemporary look to modern desks and home offices. Back in the day, most computer monitors came in some kind of beige or off-white, but these days most monitors come in black, so seeing an almost entirely white monitor is rather uncommon. MSI's new G274QRFW delivers just that, with a white front bezel, white sides, a white stand and a mostly white back, except for a small RGB element which is covered in black plastic. The display panel measures 27-inches, is of the rapid IPS type and has a native resolution of 2560 x 1440. It supports refresh rates of up to 170 Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 or 144 Hz over HDMI 2.0b. MSI has also implemented a console mode that does 120 Hz at 1080p.

The panel is of the regular 8-bit + FRC type, has a 1 ms response time and a 300 NITS brightness, with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and it supports 125 percent of the SRGB colour gamut. The G274QRFW supports AMD Freesync Premium and is G-Sync compatible, with a refresh rate range of 48 to 170 Hz. MSI has also implemented what the company calls Night Vision, which helps brighten up dark scenes in games. The monitor also features anti-flicker technology and what MSI calls Less Blue Light Pro, which reduces the blue light emitted by the display. No word on pricing or when it will be shipping was provided.

MediaTek today announced the Dimensity 9000+, an enhancement to the company's top-of-the-line 5G smartphone chipset. This new high-end offering delivers a boost in performance over the Dimensity 9000 to make the next generation of flagship smartphones even more powerful and efficient.

The new Dimensity 9000+ system-on-chip (SoC) integrates Arm's v9 CPU architecture with a 4 nm octa-core process, combining one ultra-Cortex-X2 core operating at up to 3.20 GHz (compared to 3.05 GHz with the Dimensity 9000) with three super Cortex-A710 cores and four efficiency Cortex-A510 cores. ASUS today introduced the ROG Swift PG329Q-W gaming monitor. Essentially a white-body variant of the ROG Swift PG329Q, its design sees matte-white take up must of the back body panel with matte-aluminium accents—a diagonal strip and another one around the pivot. The stand has the same 2-tone finish. At the front, you see matte-white only take up the bottom bezel. The screen is still framed in a thin black bezel.

The ROG Swift PG329Q-W is a 32-inch planar monitor with a Fast IPS display panel. It offers WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, 175 Hz refresh-rate, 1 ms (GTG) response time, and technologies such as ELMB Sync, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, and DisplayHDR 600. The world's number one gaming monitor and IT accessories brand AOC has rebranded its entire gaming segment to AGON by AOC. The very first models to be launched under the new name will be from the G3 series as part of the new AOC GAMING category. AOC via its Chinese website launched a new monitor that stands in its premium offerings. The AOC AG274QXM packs the latest Mini LED technology, enabling lighting of 576 individual zones, improving contrast and brightness enough so that it features VESA's DisplayHDR 1,000 certification. The 170 Hz IPS panel and WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution is arguably at the best performance/image quality ratio compared to the current-gen graphics cards for the most demanding raytraced games, alongside the 1 ms response time and FreeSync support.

The AOC AG274QXM's panel also offers color coverage at 100 percent sRGB, 99 percent Adobe RGB, 98 percent DCI-P3 and a Delta-E <2 on its 10-bit panel. There are two integrated 5 W loudspeakers with DTS support, and I/O is taken care of by 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.0 HUB, and 1x USB-Type C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 65 W power delivery. There is also RGB lighting on the monitor's stand. It isn't currently known whether AOC will launch the AG274QXM monitor to other markets other than the Chinese one.
