Introduction

I would like to thank A-DATA for supplying the review sample. The company produces some very unique and useful memory products, ranging from a complete offering of notebook and desktop memory over memory cards in various shapes, sizes and speeds to USB storage in many flavors. A-DATA also has licenses to produce such memory devices with themes of Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney.

We have the pleasure to review their S802 flash drive today. The S denotes that this device is part of their Sport series, which is intended to withstand the everyday hazards:

From the manufacturer:
  • Used like a carabiner; easy clipped on a key chain or a bag
  • USB swivel-designed
  • High quality zinc alloy frame design make it durable and long-wearing
  • COB (Chip on Board)
  • Support USB 2.0, backward compatible with USB 1.1
  • Color: Gray/Red
  • Dimension: 61.7*19.0*9.3mm(LxWxH)
  • Weight: 25g

Packaging

A-Data ships the S805 in a fairly elaborate small box. It has a little window, so you can clearly see the device, while a large yellow sticker reveals the capacity. We received the 16 GB version, which is the largest one for this stick. The rear holds some additional details and selling arguments for the S805. The entire package can be hung up on a shelf as well.

Contents

You will not receive any extras with the flash drive. Only a simple warranty pamphlet has been inserted into the yellow cardboard box.
