A Closer Look

Angelbird designed a sleek adapter that comes with a clean, elegant design. All circuits are also fully covered for protection against damage during installation or handling.

Installation

Installation couldn't be easier - just slide the M.2 SSD into the socket at a slight angle before pressing it down. Please note that Angelbird has added plenty of mounting holes, so you can install M.2 SSDs of all sizes (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, and 22110).

Now, secure the SSD with the included screw.

The last step is to put the heatsink on before tightening it down with the screws on the back.

When installed, there is still sufficient airflow for a graphics card next to it.

A large number of white LEDs have been positioned around the frame of the PX1. These LEDs are always on. The only way to "turn them off" is by breaking or unsoldering a zero ohm resistor in the PCB's top-right corner.
