Storage Performance


With everything crammed so closely together on the ASRock X299E-ITX/ac, it was hard to find the additional controllers for USB devices. Then I remembered that the ASMedia ASM1074 was found between the LAN ports on the rear add-in card. The USB 3.1 Gen2 ports are pushed via the high-performance ASM3142 controller pictured above.
