Introduction

ASUS Logo

ASUS is a Taiwan-based computer hardware and electronics company founded in 1989. The ROG Harpe Ace is centered around esports-level performance. To that end, ASUS has joined forces with Aim Lab, a popular aim trainer freely available on Steam. Despite having a solid shell and being fairly large, the ambidextrous Harpe Ace weighs no more than 54 g, owing to a bio-based nylon shell being used. ASUS's latest AimPoint sensor capable of 36,000 CPI is used, along with ASUS's improved SpeedNova Wireless Technology ensuring the lowest possible wireless latency. Without illumination, ASUS cites a battery life of up to 90 hours in 2.4 GHz wireless operation and up to 99 hours using Bluetooth. ROG Micro Switches rated for 70 million clicks are used for the main buttons, along with pure PTFE mouse feet. Customization is possible through Armoury Crate, or, for the first time on an ASUS mouse, using on-board controls. As part of the integration into Aim Lab, the Harpe Ace gives access to a settings optimizer for sensitivity and CPI. For best results, the Harpe Ace can be paired with the ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition mousepad, which likewise has been developed in cooperation with Aim Lab. The Harpe Ace also supports NVIDIA Reflex, allowing one to measure click latency on a compatible monitor. Lastly, the Harpe Ace comes with a set of grip tape and replacement mouse feet included in the box.
