The ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming features a 7-phase VRM configuration using a parallel—or "Teamed"—power-stage design. Three Vishay SIC639 power stages run in parallel for each phase, which gives ASUS triple the power-handling capability without using any doublers.

ASUS is using one of their own Digi+ VRM ASP1106 PWM controllers to drive the ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming.

The ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming uses Vishay SIC639 power stages for all seven phases. There are twelve stages for the Vcore and two stages for the SOC. These power stages each support a maximum of 50 A of continuous current. When paired with the chunky VRM cooling solution, the ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming should be a capable overclocker.

The ASUS B550 PG ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming has a maximum output of 700 A, with 600 A dedicated to Vcore.
