Overclocking

With manual overclocking, maximum overclock of our sample is 2500 MHz on the memory (25% overclock) and +110 MHz to the GPU's base clock, which increases average GPU clock from 1959 MHz to 2077 MHz (6% overclock).

Memory overclocking seems artificially limited; the card will run perfectly fine at 2500 MHz all day, but crashes instantly when 2501 MHz is set. Still, a 25% memory overclock is highly impressive.

Overclocked Performance

Using these clock frequencies, we ran a quick test of Unigine Heaven to evaluate the gains from overclocking.


Actual 3D performance gained from overclocking is 13.9%.
