I would like to thank Cooler Master for supplying the review sample.

Today, we get to review something really special when it comes to cases. The Cooler Master COSMOS C700P is, as the name implies, the new vision for the COSMOS line (henceforth "Cosmos" for the sake of readability), the first all-new high-end chassis from Cooler Master in quite a while, and it also represents a huge step towards bringing the features and engineering behind their MasterConcept to the consumer. Weighing in at a massive 22 kg, which is 48 pounds, it will be interesting to see what the new Cooler Master heavyweight brings to the ring.

Packaging

Cooler Master ships the Cosmos C700P in a fully colored cardboard box. You will find an image of the chassis itself at its face, while the rear holds quite a bit of text. Turning the package 90° to either side, there are the enclosure's specifications and on the other another shot of the case. This image is essentially a 1:1 shot of the case to make sure you can gauge quite nicely how tall the Cosmos C700P is.

Two thick Styrofoam spacers hold the chassis in place, and a heavy-duty plastic bag has also been applied to keep fingerprints and scratches away. As I already mentioned with the Cosmos 25th Anniversary Edition: it would have been a nice touch to find the case in a black cloth bag just like in the good old days.
