Introduction

I would like to thank CaseKing.de for supplying the review sample.

CaseKing is one of the few companies out there, which will not just sell anything. They only offer hardware that performs well and is of high quality. The shop offers quite a few exclusive parts and devices from all around the world and it is also the official distributor for a long list of well known manufacturers. Their assortment has grown greatly in recent years, while great service and support is still a very important part of the shop philosophy. The website may be in German, but they do ship to most european countries. One of the companies of which CaseKing is the distributor for is Cooler Master, so you will surely get the lastest and greatest from that manufacturer at CaseKing.

We have the pleasure of reviewing the Cooler Master Cosmos 1000, which is their newest flagship product. It is a bit bigger than the Stacker 832 and features a few additions, while Cooler Master has chosen to remove other extras like a removable mainboard tray or BTX support. CaseKing is once more one of the first to have this case in Europe, and it should be shipping by the time you read this.

Packaging

Cooler Master has kept the box of the Cosmos white. The only images are of the Cosmos case itself. If you look at the top left corner from a bird's view, you will see an image of the entire chassis, spanning all three sides of the package. You will find the specs of the case on the side of the box.

Cooler Master has chosen Styrofoam to protect the Cosmos from damage. It is a bit thinner than what you would expect from a package with this weight. A heavy duty plastic bag further protects the case. A thin plastic film forms the last line of defense against scratches during shipping and assembly of the computer.
