Packaging

The MasterLiquid PL240 Flux is featured front and center on the box in full color, along with the Cooler Master logo and a mention that an ARGB controller is included. A quick turn to the left shows the cooler's full specification table along with all the supported Intel and AMD CPU sockets. Meanwhile, the back of the box details the various features, such as the dual-chamber pump and enhanced Sickleflow fan blades.

Cooler Master notes support for all significant motherboard ARGB solutions on the right side, which is nice since users do not need to use the included software to use the feature. Moving on, the top has the company logo and product name, while the bottom shows the radiator and pump dimensions via mechanical drawings.

The interior packaging is simple at first glance; however, the cardboard tray is a bit sturdier than some I have encountered. Overall, while not the best, the protection afforded to the product is more than adequate, with everything neatly placed and compartmentalized.

The cooler supports all the current and most past mainstream sockets, including Intel's LGA115x, LGA1200, and even LGA1700. Only the Intel LGA1366 socket appears to have been left out. On the AMD side, Cooler Master opted to support everything from Socket FM1 and AM2 up to AM4 and TR4, giving the cooler a wide compatibility range.
