Shape and Dimensions

Shape

Compared to its predecessor, the Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro barely received any changes to its shape. It still has the typical design elements one would expect from a right-handed ergonomic mouse with its centered hump which gradually slopes down towards both ends, as well as a raised left side. Yet the barely curved inward sides and lack of any front or back flare, along with a mouse body that isn't too bulky, open the Dark Core RGB Pro up for grip styles other than just palm grip. Its overall shape is fairly reminiscent of the Logitech G604, although the latter flares out much more aggressively on the right side, whereas Corsair opted for more neutral curves on the Dark Core RGB Pro.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Dark Core RGB Pro is mostly suited for palm and claw grip. It's a large mouse with a somewhat bulky body and fairly pronounced hump, making it mostly suit medium-sized to larger hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Dark Core RGB Pro comfortable in claw grip.

Those wanting additional ring-finger support on the right side can install a different side panel. Although the ring-finger support interacted unfavorably with my claw grip, it's worth giving a shot at least.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and the main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
