Ducky Feather Review

Introduction

Ducky Logo

Established in 2008, Ducky is specialized in manufacturing mechanical keyboards and based in Taiwan. Originally released in 2020, the symmetrical Feather was Ducky's first lightweight gaming mouse. For the refresh in black and white, Ducky offers three variants to choose from, each with different main button switches: Kailh GM 8.0 (80 M), Omron D2FC-F-K (60 M), and Huano Blue (50 M), the latter of which is identical with the original Feather. For this review, I'll be taking a look at the Huano version. Aside from the aesthetics and main button switch choice, nothing else has changed: PixArt's PMW3389 sensor capable of 16,000 CPI, pure PTFE feet, and a paracord-like, braided cable all wrapped into a 67 g lightweight construction. Instead of a software, Ducky provides extensive on-device configuration options, including for the rich RGB lighting.
