Fnatic Gear Flick 2 Review

Introduction

Fnatic Logo

Fnatic was founded in 2004 as an eSports team, and they quickly became one the most well-known eSports teams around the world. Not so long ago, they also jumped into the gaming peripherals market with some of their very own stuff, and they did so quite well to be perfectly honest. Their first two mice, the Flick and Clutch, are already pretty good, but it was time for a revamp. The Fnatic Gear Flick 2 and Clutch 2 came out earlier this year with very promising specifications, and their price tag is rather friendly if you consider the hype around the brand. In this review, I will show you the Flick 2, which is a rather large ambidextrous gaming mouse equipped with a PixArt PMW3360 top optical sensor, Omron switches rated for 50 million clicks, and, of course, fully programmable RGB lighting.

Packaging

The Fnatic Flick 2 arrives in a massive, thick, and heavy box. The color scheme follows Fnatic's usual style, so black, white, and orange colors are highly dominant. There are some technical specifications and a lot of marketing text on and inside the box with some cheeky sentences here and there. There is a lot of dense foam padding inside that protects the mouse from damage during shipping and storage-specific tasks. The contents of this box are the Flick 2 itself and a small cardboard package. This little package contains a quick start guide that includes a lot of different languages and some stickers—no extra set of mouse feet unfortunately, which is quite a big letdown.
