I would like to thank Fractal Design for supplying the review sample.

Fractal Design has managed to improve the Define series with every generation without loosing its original design DNA. with the 7th generation chassis released back in 2020, the company quickly followed up with the shorter Define 7 Compact a couple of months later. However after that, there hasn't been any additions or updates to this family of enclosures. With the launch of the Define 7 Nano being reviewed here, Fractal once more ventures into the ITX space with their hero chassis - something they have not done for quite some time. In addition to this, Fractal is also launching the M-ATX based Define 7 Mini, thus closing the gaps in this generation of the series.

Packaging

Fractal Design ships the Define 7 Nano in their usual brown box with an image of the chassis in the front and a blow-up diagram in the rear alongside some unique selling points of the case. On the side, you will find a sticker to let you know which chassis variant you will be receiving.

As with all recent higher-end Fractal cases there is print on the inside of the box for that added visual element while unboxing your purchase. Thick Styrofoam spacers secure the enclosure and protect it from damage during shipping while a plastic bag keeps away fingerprints and scratches.
