Introduction
I would like to thank
Fractal Design for supplying the review sample.
Today, we are reviewing the Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact. As the name implies, it a shorter and thus smaller variant of the original Meshify 2. Fractal Design is following the same MO by taking the tooling and frame of the Define 7 Compact and adding the Meshify exterior with its front mesh design and airflow-focused top panel. You may still pick between several different colors and even grades of tint for the glass window. For the review of the Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact, we received the gray variant, which is also a first for us.

Packaging
Fractal has gone through a big rebranding effort last year, and the Meshify 2 Compact naturally sports the visual updates as the current package reflects their new design language. On the front is an image of the chassis, while the back holds a blow-up diagram. Both sides of the package hardly hold any useful elements besides a sticker to let you know which variant you will be getting.
Even the insides of the box come with plenty of Fractal branding. Two thick Styrofoam spacers hold the chassis in place, while a plastic bag keeps scratches and fingerprints away.
