At first glance, one might mistake the Hati-R Pro 8K for an ambidextrous design, though that is not the case. Ever so subtly, the left side is raised by a small degree, and the right side reaches farther to the front than the left side does. In practice, these traits are too miniscule to actually be felt in any way, given how the Hati-R Pro 8K is primarily intended to be used in fingertip grip, though claw grip may also be possible for those with very small hands. The latter possibility is facilitated by the pronounced hump being located towards the back, which is tapered instead of extending across the entire width like on the HSK Pro. The Hati-R Pro 8K retains its width across the front and middle, where it is widest, and only narrows towards the rear. Around the grip area, the Hati-R Pro 8K is wider than the HSK Pro, lending itself better to larger hands, though by gripping it more towards the back, one has some control over the grip width. The main buttons feature fairly deep comfort grooves, though these do not matter much for fingertip grip anyway. Compared to the Hati-R 8K, the Hati-R Pro 8K has a lower hump and is considerably shorter. In fact, it is realized in such a way as if the rear had been severed. The extension at the rear merely serves as something to attach the skates to. Unlike on the Hati-R 8K, hexagonal holes are found not only on the sides, but also the top and back of the mouse.
As for grip styles, I'd say the Hati-R Pro 8K is mainly suited for fingertip grip, though claw grip may be possible for those with smaller hands. It is a small mouse with a pronounced hump, which should make it generally suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Hati-R Pro 8K perfectly comfortable in fingertip grip.
Dimensions
This table includes the dimensions of the G-Wolves Hati-R Pro 8K and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons.
