Shape

The Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition differs from the Model D Wireless in several aspects, though mostly on the aesthetic level. Most notable of course is the absence of any holes in the shell, coupled with the RGB lighting stripes having been done away with. The latter has less of an impact on the way the side buttons are arranged than on the Model O 2 Pro, however, as their size and shape generally matches the Model D Wireless. The design of the main buttons is virtually a match, too, down to the depth of the comfort grooves. The Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition also retains the rounded edges on the bottom from the Model D Wireless, though there is still a bit of a sharp edge where the top and bottom shells meet at the rear. In terms of dimensions, the Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition ends up slightly longer and ever so slightly wider around the middle than the Model D Wireless, but is a match everywhere else. Accordingly, anyone used to the Model D Wireless should feel right at home with the Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition mostly suits palm and claw grip. It is a large mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit bigger hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition very comfortable in claw grip.
