A Closer Look - Outside

Out of the box, the HYTE Revolt 3 both looks and feels sturdy with its metal panels all around. Unlike most cases out there that attempt to incorporate glass into the design, HYTE stays clear of that in favor of airflow instead.

In the front, you will find square cutouts in the metal, with a special dust filter behind it which also features square holes. While this is a nice touch, it does mean dust will have a slightly easier time getting in here. The panel is indented a little bit, which is different to the rest of the exterior parts as those are flat. The I/O of the HYTE Revolt 3 can be found on the bottom front of the chassis and consists of a USB-C connector, pair of USB 3.0 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. A square power button sits at the center. As we will see later on, it will light up white when the assembled computer is turned on. The location of the I/O makes it apparent that the HYTE Revolt 3 is meant to be placed on the table next to your monitor.

Looking at the rear, the same vented panel design continues here, but the dust filter behind it is made with classic, round holes. On the very bottom is an opening for you to route your cables through as the motherboard backplate faces downward within the chassis. An ATX power connector has been routed to this position as well, and HYTE has also included an on/off switch, which is a very nice and useful touch.

Both sides of the Revolt 3 sport the same cutouts as the other two panels and the same type of dust filter as the rear of the chassis.

In the top, HYTE has embedded a metal handle which may be popped out with a gentle press. It can handle (all the pun intended!) up to 30 lbs, which is plenty for a system of this magnitude. In addition to that, there are two little aluminium bars you may pop out—one on either side of the Revolt 3. These are meant to be used to hold your headphones—very cool!
