Windows 10 Pro Startup Time

In this test, we measure the time it takes Windows 10 Pro to boot from the kernel start-up, to the execution of start-up programs. An internal kernel timer keeps track of the time and is more accurate than using a stop watch. (HDD reference score: 37.3 s)

Virtualization

We measure virtualization performance with VMWare workstation. The tested duration includes the time it takes to start a virtual machine, create a snapshot, and revert to a previous snapshot. (HDD reference score: 173.6 s)

WinRAR Compression

This test measures the time it takes WinRAR to uncompress the Linux Kernel tar.gz archive to the tested drive. (HDD reference score: 133.0 s)
