Packaging

The Lamptron FC5 - which simply stands for fan controller 5 - ships in a compact black cardboard box. A window on top allows you to take a good look at the device itself, while the front and rear of the package are identical, showing the device, along with all possible color settings. One smaller side holds a marketing text and also lets you know which color the FC5 within the package is, even though that should be obvious. On the other side you have a full specifications table along with the features of the FC5.


Even though the carboard used is rather thin and fragile, Lamptron has secured the FC5 extremely well within foam spacers, so you do not need to worry about any damage during shipping.

Contents

There are plenty of contents besides the unit itself within the small package. You will receive a simple, but complete, instructions manual, the required screws for installation, a jumper for setting the display and a power cable to extend the connection into the chassis for easy reach. Four diodes are also part of the package, along with four extension cables for the fans.
