A Closer Look - Outside

All the glass panels of the chassis are covered in an additional layer of protection you get to peel off. At this point, it should be pretty apparent that the Metallic Gear Neo-G Mini comes with two glass panels—one in the front and another on the main side of the enclosure.

In the front, the solid glass cover features a pretty cool design with a tiny Metallic Gear logo on the bottom. In the rear, things looks pretty interesting in terms of the layout, with three expansion slots even though we are talking about a Mini-ITX case.

The main side of the Neo-G Mini is made out of glass and held in place by four large thumb screws. This side is also where you will find the two USB 3.0 and pair of audio connectors that make up the enclosure's I/O panel. On top of that is a button to switch up the RGB color of the pre-installed fan. A strip of vents along the side of the front allow for air to be pulled in past the otherwise solid panel. On the opposite side, you will find a metal cover with an air vent that is covered up from the inside.

There is a dust filter on the bottom of the chassis you may pull out easily without having to tip over the chassis. Above that are the aforementioned expansion slots, each with thumb screws and reusable covers. It will be interesting to see how everything is connected inside as this Mini-ITX setup is pretty unique. In the very top is a full-size ATX bay, so you can use your classic power supply with the chassis.
