ModMyMachine brings new life to the aluminum pad market with their new SlamePad series of gaming grade mouse mats. The new mats feature a different kind of surface compared to the SteelSeries aluminum mats that have been around for ages.


The ModMyMachice pads are available in a large variety of colors. The one we got for review was black. We suspect that the other surface colors might add quite the bling effect to your desktop.

Priced at €39.90 the SlamePad is not exactly cheap, but if you factor in the durability of an aluminum pad it might be worth it.

The Package

The SlamePad ships in cardboard envelope so it is not that protected. Fortunately CaseKing.de drops the cardboard envelope into a well-padded box to protect it better during transportation.

The SlamePad comes without bundle! All you get is the mat. A protective sleeve would be a nice edition since the coated surface could get scratched.
