Packaging

The solid box contains the mouse along with a quick start guide, several stickers, and a set of replacement mouse feet.

Weight

My scale shows around 64 g (+/- 1 g), which, quite surprisingly, is lower than the weight cited by Mountain. Maybe it'd be better to call this mouse "Makalu 64" then? In any case, the Makalu 67 is a very light mouse. I've also been informed that retail units may indeed weigh in at 67 g due to further improvements to shell strength.

Cable

The Makalu 67 features a paracord-like, braided cable. Flexibility is almost on par with the MM711 or XM1 White, so this is definitely one of the better cables. Its measured length is 1.80 m. The cable has a ferrite bead attached to it, which reduces signal noise, as well as a gold-plated USB connector.

Feet

The feet on the Makalu 67 are white-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet with rounded edges. Glide is excellent. Their size and shape is reminiscent of but not identical with the Logitech G403 feet. The ring around the sensor is part of the mold and ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure. Small indentations next to the feet make them easy to remove. An additional set of replacement feet is included in the box, which is very welcome. The feet are pretty thick, so they should last a good while already.
