Board Software

The software included on the MSI B360 GAMING ARCTIC driver disc is generous and includes a lot of useful tools. Unfortunately, there is also some bloatware mixed in. Before installing the essential drivers, make sure to uncheck the bottom boxes to avoid the bloat.


There are quite a few utilities included with the GAMING ARCTIC. MSI App Manager is the hub of the MSI software suite. Mystic Light is the RGB control software and offers compatibility and expandability with other components.


MSI Command Center is the overclocking and fan-control software; this is where MSI put all their tweaking options. The Gaming App is a condensed Command Center.


Gaming LAN Manager is a thorough network control tool with some in-depth diagnostic and tweaking tools.


Live Update keeps drivers and firmware up to date. Ramdisk makes, well, Ramdisks.


MSI Smart Tool is a media creation tool (bootable USB drives, for example). Lastly, the X-boost software promises a boost to storage performance.
