The MSI MEG Z490 Godlike features a 16-phase VRM in a (8 x2) +1 configuration. That's eight doubled phases for Vcore and one phase for the SOC.

The Godlike Intersil ISL69269 PWM controller, which can drive a total of 12 distinct phases, is paired with ISL6617A doublers for the Vcore phases.

The MSI MEG Z490 Godlike uses top of the line Intersil ISL99390 power stages for all primary phases, while VCCSA power is driven by a pair of discrete Mosfets. These power stages support a maximum of 90 A of continuous current each and feature both overcurrent and overtemperature protection. Paired with the robust VRM cooling solution, the Godlike should be an excellent overclocker.

The MSI MEG Z490 Godlike has a maximum Vcore output of 1,440 A.
