Fan Noise and Thermals (Subjective)

Two fans are within the Pulse GL66's frame. They are slightly different, so you would notice when both are in use. How and when they are in use depends on the selected power profile.

Subjective Audio Quality

We have a fairly capable looking speaker, along with a plastic surround for noise profiling. The speaker is angled in its frame. I was expecting a fair bit from the Pulse GL66 in terms of audio quality.

Combining the Two

I found that I was at most times almost at 50% volume to overcome the default fan profile on the Pulse GL66. Even with the fans of the Pulse GL66 in silent mode, I found almost 40% to be a comfortable level, while exceeding 80% resulted in rather crappy sound the Nahamic software couldn't help me overcome. This was truly disappointing since more often than not, I'm a big fan of MSI's audio solutions, and Nahamic software in particular, but I didn't like it here much at all.
