Formula One (Grand Prix) is the elite motorsport, an excellent opportunity for all car manufacturers, like Mercedes-Benz, to show off their capabilities. The Mercedes-Benz Formula One team is widely known by its nickname "Silver Arrows" and was renamed "Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team" in 2012.

Recently, the company created its own esports gaming team consisting of three players. Since Mercedes-Benz is a German brand, it was only natural to collaborate with another German brand, noblechairs, in taking another step towards gaming-oriented products with a unique product sporting both Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and noblechairs colors and badges. As such, a limited edition gaming chair has now been manufactured, and it strangely enough doesn't cost a bomb. You see, both companies decided to settle on a reasonable price tag compared to other high-end chair models. At €389.90, or $449.00, F1 fans can get a chair that reminds them of their favorite sport. It is covered in PU pleather and has all the ergonomics and quality of the EPIC chair series.

Packaging

We were looking forward to this chair in anticipation since there was such a fuss around it at Computex 2019. When we received the package, the courier wouldn't leave our porch without us revealing more information about this chair, including price and where he could get one!

The box is huge, heavy, and impressive due to the enormous Mercedes-AMG logo. Lots of information about the collaboration between the two companies and the chair within has been put on the package, giving us a pretty good idea of what we can expect inside. As you can see in the photo above, the box arrived damaged, though thankfully without it adversely affecting the contents.

Contents

The contents are well protected inside the box.

The bundle includes the following:
• Chair base
• Chair backrest
• Wheel base
• Armrests (2x pre-installed)
• Tilt mechanism
• Assembly manual
• Toolbox

The contents of the toolbox are listed below:
• Wheels (5x)
• Hydraulics
• Hydraulics sleeve
• Side covers (2x)
• M8 screws (4x)
• Phillips head screws (2x)
• Washers (8x)
• Allen key

The assembly manual is quite straightforward, and if one follows through on its steps, the entire procedure is pretty carefree. However, if one does not and is more of a visual person, noblechairs also has an assembly video on its official website. It is again advisable to have an extra pair of hands around for a speedy assembly, especially if this is your first chair assembly.
