Circuit Board (PCB) Analysis

GPU Voltage, VRM Configuration

The GPU VRM is a massive 18-phase design.

For the GPU voltage, Monolithic Power Systems MP86957 DrMOS chips are used; they are rated for up to 70 A output current each.

Memory Voltage, VRM Configuration

The memory VRM is 3-phase.

For memory, Monolithic Power Systems MP86957 DrMOS chips are used, again rated at 70 A.

Both GPU and memory voltage are managed by a single Monolithic Power Systems MP2891—a brand-new, ultra-high-end design.

Graphics Card Memory Chips

The GDDR6 memory chips are made by Micron and carry the model number D8BZC, which decodes to MT61K512M32KPA-21:U. They are specified to run at 1313 MHz (21 Gbps GDDR6 effective).

Graphics Chip GPU

NVIDIA's GA102 graphics processor was the company's second Ampere architecture chip; the first one targeted at GeForce gamers. It is produced on a 8 nanometer process at Samsung and has a transistor count of 28 billion with a die size of 628 mm².
