Introduction
It has been little more than three months since NVIDIA launched their GeForce GTX 780 with great success. The card uses the same Kepler GK110 GPU we have seen on the GTX Titan, but with fewer shaders. The new GPU and NVIDIA's new Boost 2.0 algorithm allow the card to offer significant performance improvements over the GeForce GTX 680.
Palit's GTX 780 Super JetStream is a cost-effective, highly overclocked GTX 780 that's only slightly more expensive than the GTX 780 reference design, yet comes with voltage monitoring and voltage control. Its large triple-fan, triple-slot cooler ensures the card stays cool even when fully tweaked.
With 980 MHz, the Palit GTX 780 Super JetStream is running a large overclock matching that of the MSI GTX 780 Lightning out of the box, but it does so at $100 less, bringing its total price to $670. Unlike most other factory-overclocked GTX 780 cards, the Palit GTX 780 Super JetStream also comes with a memory overclock.

The Card
Palit's card is dominated by the large triple-fan cooler. The color theme is mainly black and gold, which I find a bit dull. Dimensions of the card are 28.5 x 13 cm. Please note the plastic lip near the top edge of the card; it seems to serve no function and only takes up space. This could become an issue in some smaller cases, but most bigger cases will be fine.
Installation requires three slots in your system.
Display connectivity options include two DVI ports, one HDMI port, and one DisplayPort. You may use all outputs at the same time, so triple-monitor surround gaming is possible with one card.
The GPU also includes an HDMI sound device. It is HDMI 1.4a compatible, which includes HD audio and Blu-ray 3D movies support.
Two available SLI connectors allow you to combine up to three GTX 780 cards in a Triple-SLI, multi-GPU configuration. NVIDIA decided to disable Quad-SLI on the GTX 780, so that feature is reserved for the GTX Titan only.
