Packaging

Take a quick look at the packaging, Patriot has an exceptionally brightly colored red box, helping it stand out on the store shelf. From a design prospective, it is a little too busy in terms of visual information, but the main bullet points do come across. It is a Viper Venom DDR5 memory kit from Patriot under the Viper Gaming brand. The only thing wrong here with the packaging is the AMD EXPO sticker. This memory kit does not have a EXPO profile and certainly will not work at 7200 MT/s for any Ryzen 7000 series CPU. This has been confirmed by the Patriot Rep to be early production packaging error. Retail kit over 6200 MT/s will not have this sticker.

Flip the box around and on each DIMM, the SKU number, CAS timings, and operating voltage can be seen through the cutout. Patriot also has a QR code that can be scanned, sending you to the product page for further information.

The box has some tape to prevent anything from falling out during shipping. Once cut and removed from the outer packaging; the memory sticks are secured and protected from minor damage with a clamshell inside the outer box. Included is a Viper Gaming sticker too!
