Shape and Dimensions

Shape

In many ways, the M808 Storm Pro has a typical right-handed ergonomic shape, but there are some key differences. For starters, although the left side is raised, it's not raised as much as on many other ergonomic designs. Furthermore, the front and back flare out quite a bit in relation to the middle, but in absolute terms, the M808 Storm Pro has a rather narrow and slim overall shape. The sides curve inward horizontally and vertically, creating this sort of profile: \__/. The hump is centered, moderately pronounced, and slopes down gradually towards both ends. Lastly, the main buttons feature rather deep comfort grooves.

In addition to that, two other things are of particular note on the M808 Storm Pro. First, the hole pattern merely extends to the top, whereas the M808 Storm had them on the bottom as well. Second, the sensor position is off-centered not just on the y-axis, but on the x-axis as well. Whereas the forward placement of the sensor is similar to the M711 FPS and aforementioned M808 Storm, and possibly even a desired feature, the shift to the side is neither. I did eventually get used to the horizontal shift, but it still feels quite alien and inconsistent in games.

As for grip styles, I'd say the M808 Storm Pro is generally suited for all three main grip styles: palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It's a large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the M808 Storm Pro very comfortable in claw grip.
