Introduction

Established in 2006, ROCCAT is a peripherals company based in Germany. The Kain 200 AIMO is the wireless member of the Kain family, which also includes the Kain 120 (see our review) and the budget Kain 100 (see our review), all available in either black or white. Much like its wired cousins, the Kain 200 comes with a custom-engineered button mechanism, premium materials and build quality, a rather unique right-handed ergonomic shape, full software customizability, and ROCCAT's own AIMO lighting system. The biggest difference of course is the fact that it's wireless—while PixArt's PAW3335 promises top-tier tracking and up to 16,000 CPI, ROCCAT cites a battery life of up to 35 hours, or 50 hours with the illumination disabled.
