Packaging

Aside from the mouse, one finds a quick start guide and charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C) in the box. Oddly, the set of replacement mouse feet included with the Kone Pro is nowhere to be found on the Air.

Weight

My scale shows around 73 g (+/- 1 g), which is slightly less than the weight cited by ROCCAT. An excellent weight, especially considering its medium size and the fact that the Kone Pro Air lacks externally visible holes. Compared to several of its right-handed ergonomic peers, such as the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro at 87 g, ASUS ROG Gladius III Wireless at 89 g, and ROCCAT Kain 200 at 105 g, the Kone Pro Air comes out on top with ease.

Cable

The Kone Pro Air comes with a paracord-like, braided charging cable (Type-A to Type-C). Though not quite on the level of the charging cables of the ASUS ROG Gladius III or Glorious Model O Wireless in terms of flexibility, it is not far behind and easily more flexible than that of the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro. As such, I consider this cable flexible enough to where the Kone Pro Air is perfectly usable as if it were a wired mouse. Its measured length is 1.80 m.

As the Kone Pro Air lacks a wireless extender, the wireless dongle needs to be plugged directly into a USB port. When doing so, as per Intel's documentation, it is strongly recommended not to use a USB 3.x port as ports of this type may introduce interference adversely affecting wireless operation. A storage compartment for the wireless dongle is located on the underside of the mouse.

Feet

The feet on the Kone Pro Air are non-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet with slightly rounded edges. Glide is excellent and thickness average. Upon closer inspection, one can see that the feet appear more translucent than most others, which is due to little to no dye being used. Much like on the Burst Pro, these are described as heat-treated, which is said to ensure optimal glide right out of the box, and much like on the Burst Pro, the feet indeed required no perceivable break-in period. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stay consistent upon applying vertical pressure. Oddly enough, unlike on the Kone Pro, ROCCAT does not include a set of replacement feet in the box on the Kone Pro Air.
