Shape and Dimensions

Shape

Compared to previous versions of the Kone Pure, no changes have been made to the shell of the Kone Pure Ultra, which means the shape is identical. The Kone Pure Ultra is a small right-handed ergonomic mouse with a raised left and a comparatively lower-sitting right side. The hump is placed in the middle and slopes down gradually towards both ends, although without bottoming out at the front. On the left side, a rather deep thumb groove can be found, which—coupled with the back flaring out—also acts as a small thumb rest. Said flare is present on the right side too, where it creates a small ledge that may or may not interfere with one's pinky—personally, I never had problems with that, but I can understand why some people are bothered by it. The main buttons don't have any comfort grooves.

As for grip style, I'd say the Kone Pure Ultra can be used in all three main grip styles (palm, claw, and fingertip). It's a small mouse, however, so using it in palm grip will be difficult for larger hands. For reference, my hand size is 19x10 cm, and the Kone Pure Ultra feels very comfortable in claw grip.

This table includes the dimensions of the ROCCAT Kone Pure Ultra and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons.
