Non-gaming power consumption is increased a bit over the AMD reference design. With 9 W more, it is not insignificant, but not as dramatic as it looks either. On this SKU, Sapphire is including their ARGB fans, which add a little bit of extra power draw. Like on all other Navi cards, multi-monitor power consumption is still too high when compared to competing NVIDIA cards.
Sapphire dialed up the power limits of their card quite a bit to achieve their large overclock out of the box. This is not as expected since the GPU will operate outside its optimal efficiency window. Basically, you are trading power consumption for higher performance. Still, performance doesn't scale 1:1 with power, so some efficiency is lost.
With around 300 W power draw, the card is demanding on the power supply, so don't cheap out here.
Recommended PSU: 650 W
