Introduction

SteelSeries Logo

SteelSeries is a Denmark-based peripherals company founded in 2001. In many ways, the Prime+ is no different from the Prime: shape, weight (+2 g), cable, feet, materials, switches, scroll wheel, and sensor. There are only two notable differences: A secondary lift-off detection sensor, which allows for more granular lift-off distance adjustment where the Prime had none, and an OLED screen on the bottom of the mouse, which allows for extensive on-board customization, including CPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, and lighting effects. The same options are available in software, including for the RGB lighting.
