Thermaltake has its headquarters in Taipei and was founded in 1999. The company initially produced DIY kits for PC cooling, gaming gear, and memory solutions. However, peripherals and gaming are broad categories, and the need for innovative products has since increased, which has had Thermaltake expand into more categories, including gaming/office chairs.

The Cyberchair E500, an ergonomic chair, is today's review subject. It fits into various spaces well mainly because of its appearance. This specific model was released this year, and it is their first attempt at leaving behind the omnipresent bucket seat design. For the time being, it is only available in black with aluminium details. The aluminium frame and heavy-duty five-star base allow for users of up to 150 kg (331 lb).

A couple of things that make this chair interesting and comfortable are the permeable high-tension mesh and ergonomics based on a wire-control mechanism and levers. At €599.99 including VAT in Europe and $599.99 before tax in the States, the Cyberchair E550 is quite expensive, though.

Packaging

A huge cardboard box contains the Cyberchair E500. The company name and logo are printed all over the package. We also find an illustrated picture of the product, general specifications and certifications, its serial number, and the package contents listed. Since the package weighs almost 33 kg (72.75 lb), definitely make sure an extra pair of hands is on board to lug it around carefully.
