I have to say, the Tt eSPORTS Iris Optical RGB was an absolute surprise for me. This price range doesn't include many good mice, but this one is totally great. It is mainly targeted at palm grippers with medium-sized hands, but again, people's personal preferences can be vastly different, so it may also be suitable for people who do not fall into that category. The surface coating is grippy enough on top, but could be improved a bit on the sides. With sweaty hands, there can be some slipping, yet the curved sides help with that a lot. The weight is about 96 grams (without the cable), which is okay, but could be a tad lower.

The mouse is equipped with a PixArt PMW3325 sensor, which is not a high-end model, but honestly, I can't call it midrange. The only issue is its relatively low malfunctioning speed compared to a PMW3360, for instance. But honestly, hitting 3.6–3.8 m/s is pretty hard even at a very low sensitivity. If you play shooters competitively and tend to swipe your mouse really fast, this mouse may not be suitable for you. Also, the lift-off distance is not controllable since it is a bit high at roughly 2.4 millimeters. However, the sensor is as precise as it gets; there is no unwanted angle snapping, no jittering at any of the reasonable CPI steps, and absolutely no input lag. Unique for such a price tag are the 1500 and 2000 Hz polling-rate options—both of which work perfectly fine!

Most mice in this price range don't have good buttons, but the Iris Optical RGB has ones that even some quite expensive rats could envy; no pre-travel, tactile, and with a rather light click-feel (even with Huano switches on the main buttons, which are disliked by a lot of people), a great scroll wheel, good side buttons, and a perfectly usable CPI-changer button. Of course, there is always room for improvement. The main buttons can rattle a bit if the mouse is shaken strongly.

Tt eSPORTS Command Center Pro is a software that needs some tweaking and fixing here and there, yet overall, I had no real problems with it. Everything can be set up properly, and it does the job well. You can set a ton of macros, gaming profiles, can remap the buttons, and adjust the sensor settings, of course. And since the mouse has on-board memory, you can delete the whole software if you feel like it after setting everything up.

If you hunger for eye candy, the Iris Optical RGB can really help you out. There is an enormous amount of highly customizable effects to choose from, and they all look proper and great. There are two individually adjustable zones (depending on which effect you choose), one being the bottom strip and the other the Tt eSPORTS logo.

The main reason this mouse gets an Editor's Choice award alongside a very strong 9.0 score is the price. In this price range, I cannot really mention any other mice that could compete with the Iris Optical RGB. For only $29.99, it is an absolute bang for the buck. The shape is very similar to some widely used mice that cost at least twice as much, and yet, they don't necessarily offer that much more. I would gladly recommend the Tt eSPORTS Iris Optical RGB to anyone who finds the shape suitable and comfortable and doesn't use an extremely low sensitivity setting in FPS games.
