We will be taking a look at another product from their Store'n'Go line-up simply called "Store'n'Go 1TB USB 3.0". This is a USB 3.0 2.5" enclosure with a 1 TB hard drive inside. Verbatim only advertises the silver version on their website, but various links in Google mention that the drive is available in a slew of different colors. We received the black version for review.

Packaging

Verbatim packages the external hard drive in a cardboard package with a window up front. Since the company has a strong presence in retail stores, having a package that sticks out is of vital importance. Turning the box around, we have a lot of text but no images, while one side edge goes into detail about the device specifications while the other shows you what dimensions the drive itself has.


The Store'n'Go 1 TB USB 3.0 is held in place and protected by a foam frame. This should easily absorb any drop of the package so your drive should arrive safe and sound.
