We would like to thank Vertagear for supplying the review sample.

Vertagear was brought to life by gamers and engineers in 2015, and their combined experience promises to lead to new concepts for gaming chair designs; concepts that will result in useful and desirable products. Vertagear launched its first gaming chair under the Racing Series S-Line in July 2015. As a follow-up, the P-Line with additional ergonomic features came along, and later, in November 2016, Vertagear's Gaming Series Triigger line was introduced.

The S-Line is part of the Racing Series, and like many other gaming chairs, these seats have adopted the racing automobile bucket seat design. The S-Line consists of three models that bear ergonomic alterations and more. Each model runs under a different name and has its own distinct color combinations and structural features, such as what recline adjustments are possible. A consumer can choose between the SL2000, SL4000, or SL5000.

All S-Line Series chairs have as their main feature their overall shape that aligns you with your desk and keeps you in that position throughout a gaming or typing session. The SL5000's backrest and sitting areas use a steel frame and are filled with high density resilience foam. The seat's and backrest's upholstery is made out of stainless and water-resistant faux leather (PVC). In the ergonomics section, we have the basic features most gaming chairs come with.

The SL5000 is the second gaming chair we are reviewing from the company. The first was from their Gaming Series Triigger line and left a good impression on us. The SL5000 is of an austere black carbon color and could fit into most gaming spots as well as a professional-looking environment. The five-star base is out of metal, has plastic custom racing casters, and can withstand a weight of up to 150 kg (330 pounds). Whether Vertagear's SL5000 gaming chair will also make a good impression remains to be seen.
