Introduction

XPG Logo

XPG is the gaming division of ADATA Technology, a Taiwan-based storage company founded in 2001. The PRIMER is the first of several new mice coming from XPG. Their naming convention is linked to terms related to FPS gaming—as such, the PRIMER is named after the primer for firearms, which initiates propellant combustion. A large right-handed ergonomic mouse, the PRIMER is equipped with PixArt's PMW3360 capable of 12,000 CPI, Omron main button switches rated for 20 million clicks, and full RGB lighting. While most mice are made out of plain ABS plastic, XPG opted for PBT with the PRIMER, which provides higher durability; i.e., it does not get shiny over time. While no software is available at this point in time, it is scheduled to release later on.
