ZOTAC Z68-ITX WiFi LGA1155 Review

Packaging

Clad in a tiny eight inch square box, the ZOTAC Z68-ITX WiFi resembles other much larger products, and weighs just as much too. The complete package has quite some heft to it, which came as a complete surprise considering its diminutive size. With the box being as small as it is, there isn't much that can fit on the front, and ZOTAC has done a good job of keeping it simple and to the point. The rear has a bit of marketing info and a picture of the Z68-ITX WiFi, pointing out what's what and where.

Opening the box, we find all the accessories on top, which largely accounts for why the box is so heavy, given there's as much as there is here. After digging it all out, we find the board itself, wrapped in a tiny anti-static bag.

Contents

As you can see in the picture above, there's a lot included with the board, and the weird metal bracket you see is included for mSATA drives, like Intel's 310 Series drive, which were made with the Z68 chipset's features in mind. We also found a miniDP-to-DP converter cable, which was unexpected. You'll find a complete listing of what's included below:
  • 1x I/O Shield
  • 1x User Manual
  • 1x Quick Install Guide
  • 1x Extended Warranty Guide
  • 1x Driver CD
  • 4x SATA cables with locking pins
  • 1x 8-pin Power Extension Cable
  • 1x USB 3.0 PCI Slot Cable Kit
  • 2x WiFi Antennas
  • 1x miniSATA Card Bracket
  • 1x miniDP-to-DP Adapter Cable
