ASRock B450 Gaming-ITX/ac Review

Although it might not look like it, the box the ASRock B450 Gaming-ITX/ac comes in is actually quite small. It wasn't until I took to editing these pictures that I realized how close the general dimensions resemble a much larger box; this box is just thicker. That goes to show how well ASRock has done with their box design here because fitting all that information on the back of the box in such a small space perhaps highlights why I detest those larger boxes with so much on them when a simpler design that takes up far less space is clearly possible, or we wouldn't have it here on the back of this box.

Flip open the lid and you'll find the board up top, wrapped in an anti-static bag. No foam around the board this time, but this box is constructed well and should keep the B450 Gaming-ITX/ac safe until you get it home.

These days, very little is required in the way of accessories, if you ask me. With M.2 so widely available these days, and affordable, the need for things like SATA cables and such is greatly reduced, although you will find a couple here so you can easily plug in some "standard" drives and make use of AMD's StoreMI technology. Here's a list of everything I found in the box:
  • Quick installation guide, support CD, I/O shield
  • 2x SATA data cables
  • 2x ASRock WiFi 2.4/5 GHz antennas
  • 1x screw for M.2 socket
