Packaging

Lian Li ships the PC-B71 in a full color box. Looks like they do so for all high-end cases, while the budget ones come in a plain brown cardboard one. The larger sides of the package hold a big image of the enclosure, while the sides are both filled with a small picture of the bare case, along with a list of specifications.

The chassis is held in place by the usual Styrofoam spacers. Considering the size of the PC-B71, it would have been nice to see actual foam spacers instead. A heavy duty blue plastic bag further protects the chassis.

Contents

You get a quite a few extra parts with the enclosure. First off there are black metal handles for the seven hot swappable bays, then you also get a backplate to mount special mainboards, a frame to install a second PSU into the case and the usual documentation. A large box holds a full compliment of screws, a set of keys and plastic clips for the expansion cards. You will also get a semi-transparent plastic box to hold your unused screws and small parts.
