Installation

To install the NH-D15S, place the backplate onto the motherboard first. Now, slide the black spacers over the pillars.


Next, put the mounting arms over the pillars to then secure them with the four Phillips head nuts. It is now time to apply some thermal paste in preparation for mounting the heatsink.


Screw the heatsink to the mounting arms. Once that is done, attach the fan and plug it into the CPU fan header to complete the install.

The install was pretty painless. I would rate the process a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). While not hard by any means, it may prove a bit more complex depending on a person's choice of case.
