I still have ancient Patriot Xporter XT 2GB. It's an USB 2.0 drive that still takes the piss at any modern USB drive. It has a sequential read and write of 28-30MB/s. Same for ancient Lexar Jumpdrive Lightining 4GB. 28-30 MB/s in both directions.
Makes me wonder, don't people value their time they spend waiting for retarded cheap flash drives to copy the damn data? I've always said USB 3.0 is nice, but I can live with those super fast USB 2.0 drives just fine. Well, I can, but when you try fast and cheap drives like Sandisk Extreme 3.0 (I have a 32GB version) and you see those insane, 5 times higher transfers than on USB 2.0, there is no way going back. Hell, I bought this drive even back when I only had USB 2.0 ports just because it was the only big drive that actually maxed the USB 2.0 ports.
And I get it you don't need high speeds for carrying of few documents, but then again, why would you need a bloody 16 or 32GB USB drive?
I'm also assuming this is compatible with Windows ME?
