Swiftech Introduces the Apogee GT Water Block

Swiftech today announced the release of the new Apogee GT water block. While both the Apogee and Apogee GT water-blocks look exactly alike, the "GT" features an optimized Diamond Pin Matrix structure which the company claims will yield performance improvements ranging from 1°C and up to 3°C at 100W depending on the CPU's, with Intel's latest QX6700 quad core processors benefiting the most from the revised structure. Swiftech also announced that all its water-cooling kits will now be shipped with the Apogee GT version. The Apogee GT water block is available now, and can be ordered directly from Swiftech for $55.95. The Apogee GT also includes a separate hold-down plate for AMD processors using the AM2 socket.

Wow, that is pretty expensive just for a water block. Is it better than danger dens stuff?
