NVIDIA Delays Availability of GeForce RTX 20-series by a Week

NVIDIA announced delays to the shipping (and availability) of its first GeForce RTX 20-series graphics cards. The availability date of the GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti is now set at September 27, from its original date of September 20. The company had also recently changed the review publication date of both cards to September 19. Reviews of the RTX 2080 were supposed to be published on the 17th, with the RTX 2080 Ti on the 19th.

This is only a delay with NVIDIA's RTX 2080ti cards and not 3rd party

Going to upgrade from a 1080 to more power with a 2700K to back it up??

Seems like horrible balance...

Quite possible, rtx 2080ti FE has been out of stock in nvidia store for a while. And OP failed to mention pre-ordered rtx 2080ti cards should be shipping between 20.9. and 27.9. and RTX 2080 availability remains at 20.9. So @btarunr short news are ok, but please try to keep them factual.

I was joking about it being overpriced. I'd do both at once if I was really doing it.

Having the reviews on the same dates makes sense. Having them of different dates was just weird.

not surprised xD considering so many early birds already got their hands, mostly are reviewers. So we're seeing official benches being released after Sept 19, which is ok for me.

Don't worry, my consumerist friend. You can always spend that grand on an RTX pre-order  :toast:

What the xxxk?! I ordered two 2080 ti and one 2080 and you told me it is delayed? The only reason NVIDIA can launch this series over two years after 10 series at this high price and even break the promise to delay it is because AMD cannot launch the card can beat 10 series. Hope AMD can do something to stop NVIDIA behave such annoying.

Good point! Retailers other than Amazon take your money straight away rather than when shipped, so I'll make sure to buy from one of them. ;)
